1997 Mike Skinner Unreleased SLU Figure. The initial NASCAR series was suppose to include 9 drivers which are listed on the back of the package, but two of those, Skinner and Mayfield, were not released. Skinner raced for the number "31" Lowes team. But for unknown reason's Skinner was listed as number "16" on the back of the package. Kenner eventually corrected the error and Skinner was  released the following year with his correct No. 31 card.

This is the one of the last 1997 advertisement's I found with Skinner before Kenner realized the number error.

1997 Jeremy Mayfield Unreleased SLU Figure. 1997 was the first year for the NASCAR series. Mayfield was one of several figures planned for the initial set which were never released along with Bill Elliott, Sterling Martin, and Ernie Irvan . 

 

 

1999 Jeff Gordon Unreleased SLU Figure

 

 

 

 

1999 Jeff Gordon unreleased Winners Circle figure in Star Wars uniform. The base is marked LucasFilm Ltd 1999. The figure is very detailed, even the hat is painted. Gordon had a special one-time Star Wars Episode I paint scheme for the Charlotte race in 1999. Winners Circle also sponsored Gordon in the Busch Series. Hasbro released several diecast cars for the event and on the back of the package it mentions an upcoming 'Starting Lineup' figure, but the figure was the only Star Wars item never released to my knowledge.  

 

1999 Dale Earnhardt & Jeff Gordon unreleased cards

Set of 1999 Winners Circle Lenticular/Motion cards. They appear to show the drivers 'in action' when tilted. Above are two Dale Earnhardt cards celebrating his Charlotte victories. And below is a card of Jeff Gordon celebrating his 1999 Daytona 500 win. The cards would have been inserted in the Pit Row series  which included a diecast car and stage.

 

 

 

2000 Dale Earnhardt / Tony Stewart unreleased cards

 

 

 

This is a series of Dale Earnhardt & Tony Stewart test cards with holographic backgrounds that Hasbro developed for the 'Ultimate Series'. The cards would have come with a small 1/43 scale car, but the series was cancelled before production. Stewart would have been paired with crew chief Greg Zipadelli. Below is sample of what final product would have been if produced.

2000 Jeff Gordon prototype figure for 1/12th scale concept figure & car set. Hasbro had the idea to produce large 1:12 scale car of Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt but the concept was never released due to cost limitations. The same figure was also used to produce a Gold prototype car & torso of Jeff Gordon which was also never released.

Hasbro had the idea to produce large 1:12 scale car of Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt but the concept was never released due to cost limitations. It would have been the largest size car made. The top can be removed to reveal a roll cage which is also removeable and a figure can be inserted.
