1989 Starting Lineup Foreign Soccer Archive Pictures
In 1989 Soccer was released to several countries. Even though the Kenner name is on the back of the package, the figures were released under the Tonka brand(Tonka owned Kenner). Apparently most figures did not sell well overseas because many of them showed up in the U.S. in 1990 at discount stores, although there are a few anomalies like the hard-to-find French figures. Note: There is one variation to the goalies. Most can be found with 'small' or 'large' base.

This is rare 1992 Argentina soccer set. By '92 the Kenner company had been bought by Hasbro so the figures dropped the Tonka name. All the figures I have seen say 'Series 1' on the front; I don't know if Series 2 was ever released. Not much is known about this set, although there is a series of commercials advertising the series entitles 'Publicidad Futbol Mania'.
Some of the figures have a contest sticker on the back that says cutting 3 logos of 'Futbol Mania' and sending them by postal mail to the offices of the Cromy Club, participated in the main prize: 2 tickets for 7 days to the 1994 World Cup in the United States.

Kenner released this soccer set in 1998 under the 'Pro-Action' name, although there's no relation to the set of articulated Pro-Action baseball figures Kenner released in the United States. All the figures are still fairly hard to find and usually sell for $30-40. Kenner also released a Pro Action board game which included mini figures.
