AFA graded/authenticated 1998 Michael Jordan Unreleased Chicago Bulls sample Figure. Kenner never released another Jordan figure after he retired in 1993. Jordan returned to basketball in 1995 but withdrew from the players union which raised his individual marketing price to a reported one million a year. Kenner known for being frugal produced this prototype in an attempt to sign him in 1998 but apparently the deal fell through and it was never produced.
Does that 1997 Upper Deck card in the background have any significance in relation to the figure or did you just add it as a nice touch?
