Just purchased a '88 Alan Ashby. Two things about this figuer, 1) it is upside down & the UPC was torn off. Why would this happen, the UPC being torn off. And is it unusual for a figuer to end upside down? Thanks, Greg
The upside down figures are rare, but they turn up every now and then. These toys were cheaply made in China so Kenner didn't have the best quality control. The UPC was probably removed because they could be redeemed for a free baseball if you mailed five of them to Kenner. Unfortunately, removing the UPC significantly hurts the value.
The bat is likely to thin to re-bend. But you can try to dip the plastic in warm water a few seconds then dip it in ice water. Microwave the water a minute or two to get it hot.

DeleteBrad, thanks for your reply.
DeleteNot to worried about value, I collect for the joy. Something my grandsons to worry about. Haha.
Thanks
Is there a way to fix a bat when it's bent? Thanks
