Kenner lost it's NBA license in 1998, so they decided to produce a set of college basketball figures under the name FAME Basketball. Not all the figures were released though, these are several samples/prototypes that I obtained. The Kidd was actually released in small quantities, but pulled a short time later due to a uniform dispute with the college. The other three(Shaquille O'Neal-LSU, David Robinson-Navy, Eddie Jones-Temple) were not released at all. These sample say 'NBA 1998' on the bottom instead of the usual '1998 FAME' on other the production figures.
