1988 Lee Smith Unreleased Prototype

 

 

 

This is only unreleased 1988 baseball figure I have. It's a one of kind polyurethane prototype. The arms and limbs are pinned together. Lee Smith was slated for production in 1988, but cut from the set after a late trade to Boston. Kenner even made a card of him, but nothing was ever released. Kenner had this 'high-tech' way of sorting their prototypes by writing the players name of a plastic bag.
